Pastoral Care and Student Welfare

Each student has a Form Tutor and a senior member of staff responsible for general care and discipline. Every teacher in the school, however, may be involved in such concerns for the whole staff is committed to work for the good of a caring and orderly community. School rules are few in number but there is an overall expectation of the highest level of conduct and behaviour from all students. Students are expected to treat other people and their property with respect.

The school's Behaviour Policy, Code of Conduct and Rewards and Sanctions’ system underline all these principles. The response to any problem in school is to seek a constructive remedy and to involve parents fully whenever matters of a serious nature arise.
